100% of last year’s participants would recommend the programme – hear what some of them have to say below:
“I think everyone should do this programme, it’s fantastic and I think the positive changes it has created in me will stay with me.”
“The programme helped me address my fears of communication and learn not to be afraid. It helped me to understand that sharing with peers is an important part of being a leader and I am truly thankful for this experience. It was amazing, mind opening and empowering. I loved it and I know that it helped me a lot.”
“I really enjoyed my time here and was definitely amazing and much better than I thought. Everyone was so supportive, the staff, the group and the fear of being judged wasn’t there. I gained experience, knowledge, new skills and was able to expand on my skills even more as well as make friends.”

As part of our commitment to our Access & Participation Plan, which outlines areas where there are known disadvantages and how we plan to close these gaps, we encourage applications from students with disabilities, students from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, and students who are care experienced. In the event that the programmes are oversubscribed, we will prioritise applications from these students to enable them to take part.
